Start talking. Find a conversation starter for your group.

  • What’s something crazy you’ve done for love?
  • Watch Amy’s Q&A to spark discussion with your LifeGroup:

Start thinking. Ask a thoughtful question.

  • Read Genesis 2:24. What do you think it means to become united to a spouse?
  • Amy said adding to a marriage starts with asking the right questions. What do you think some of those questions should be?

Start sharing. Choose questions that create openness.

  • Is there ever a gap between your intentions and actions. Share a story of how you overcome this.
  • What makes you feel pursued? How does this impact the way you pursue others?
  • Read James 4:17. What is some good you ought to do to pursue a godly marriage? Is anything holding you back?
  • Pastor Craig said, “If you want something different, be it.” How could you put this into action right away?

Start praying. Be bold, and pray with power.

Jesus, thank You for always showing us an unconditional and extravagant love. Align our hearts with Yours so we can love others better. Holy Spirt, help us to be faithful in always pursuing a godly marriage. Amen!

Start doing. Commit to a step and live it out this week.

  • If you’re married, ask your spouse today what makes them feel loved, then do it.
  • Start each day this week memorizing James 4:17.
