Here’s How to Get Baptized From Anywhere

What's Baptism?

Baptism is the next step for anyone who has decided to follow Jesus! If you attend Life.Church digitally and aren’t able to get to a location, we can help with your baptism from afar!

Anyone anywhere can be baptized if they are a follower of Jesus, have a body of water to use, and have another believer to help them through the process, similar to how John baptized Jesus (Matthew 3:3-17).

You may be at a house in a bathtub, in a pool, or even a large body of water like a river or ocean. No matter where you get baptized, when you’re raised out of the water, your church is cheering you on from around the world.

Don’t forget to invite your friends and family to be a part of the celebration with you! We’re praying as you take this next step in your faith.

Here's What to Expect

Step 1

Attend a baptism class with Life.Church Online. During this class, you’ll learn more about what you’re signing up for, what baptism means for your life, and how to practically do it from anywhere in the world.

Step 2

After attending the class, you’ll sign up for your baptism event. Our next baptism events will take place on Thursday, October 24th. These will be a live call with others from around the world getting baptized, too. 

Step 3

Make sure to secure your body of water before the event and someone to help baptize you.

Step 4

Show up to the call fully clothed in dark-colored clothing (no light-colored clothes, please). Be ready to get baptized at the time of your call.

Step 5

Plan to have a friend or loved one film it so that you can cherish the memory and so you can share it with your church family here.

I Don’t Have to Be at a Church to Get Baptized?

Nope.

You can get baptized from anywhere, so long as you have a body of water to be fully submerged in and another follower of Jesus to submerge you.
