The Latest Life.Church Updates

Celebrate Baptism with Us!

Baptism is happening at most Life.Church locations on October 24-25. This is a great opportunity to invite friends and family to join you in celebrating new life in Christ at your campus!

Like our services, we’re taking additional steps to help keep you, your family, and those around you safe during baptism.

Here’s what we’re doing:

  • Careful monitoring of chlorine levels in baptism pools.
  • Baptism pool ladders will be sanitized between each service and participants will be asked to sanitize their hands before touching the ladder.
  • Limited physical contact and up-close communication between staff, volunteers, and baptism participants in and around the baptism pools.

How you can help:

  • Make sure to follow your location on social media for specific updates and information.
  • If you don’t feel well or have health concerns, please stay home and celebrate baptism with us at Life.Church Online.
  • Please wash your hands and use hand sanitizer often.
  • Maintain a distance of six feet between yourself and other guests.

If baptism is the next step for you or your child, let us know you’re interested in receiving more information.

Our Locations Have Reopened

In the last several weeks, we have monitored guidelines and best practices for gathering in a safe way. After a significant amount of prayer and preparation, we have resumed services at our Life.Church locations. We're committed to creating an environment that meets government recommendations for safety. To make that possible, our weekend services have been redesigned to create a touchless environment that allows for physical distancing. This includes significantly reduced capacity and adjusted service times.

Additionally, we’re excited to open our LifeKids ministry at our locations. Like our redesigned weekend services, we’re taking additional steps to keep our LifeKids environments safe (and fun) for your family!

Experience Switch IRL

Switch, our student ministry for 6th-12th graders, is resuming in person at most Life.Church locations Wednesday, September 9 at 7:00pm! Visit www.life.church/switch and check out all the ways you can get involved as a student or volunteer leader at your location or at Switch Online.

LifeKids

With careful planning, we’re excited to open our LifeKids ministry at our locations!

Like our redesigned weekend services, we’re taking additional steps to keep our LifeKids environments safe (and fun) for your family.

  • We’ve increased hygiene and cleaning protocols in our LifeKids spaces during and between services.
  • Additional hand-sanitizing stations will be available in LifeKids check-in and hallway area.
  • All toys and hard surfaces will be sanitized at every service.

When you arrive, be ready for a redesigned check-in process to help support a safe environment.

  • Every staff member, volunteer, and child in LifeKids will have their temperature taken before checking in to LifeKids. We aren’t able to check in anyone with a temperature of 100.4 or higher.
  • Our touchless experience will extend to check-in as LifeKids volunteers will help you at the check-in kiosks and handle sign-in sheets for you.
  • We encourage you to only send one parent into LifeKids for drop-off and pick-up to help limit traffic in the hallways.
  • Be sure to use hand sanitizer or wash your hands before entering LifeKids. Encourage your child to do the same.
  • You’ll see lots of big waves, but let’s avoid hugs, high-fives, and handshakes.

We’ll all need to work together to help keep LifeKids safe, so please stay home and participate in LifeKids Online if your child:

  • Has had a fever in the past 14 days.
  • Shows any symptoms of COVID-19.
  • Has been around anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19.

Let’s Work Together to Stay Healthy

What We’re Doing:

  • All Life.Church services will be a touchless experience, and all high-volume areas will be thoroughly sanitized between services.
  • Additional hand-sanitizing stations will be placed throughout the building.
  • No water fountains will be open or usable.
  • No offering buckets will be passed. Instead, there will be an area in the back of the auditorium for guests who want to give.
  • All seatback materials, papers, and pens will be removed.

How You Can Help:

  • Make sure to follow your location on social media for specific updates and information.
  • If you don't feel well or have health concerns, please stay home and join us at Life.Church Online.
  • Please wash your hands and use hand sanitizer often.
  • Maintain a distance of six feet between yourself and other guests.

You can also find online community on on Facebook Live, YouTube Live, and Instagram Live at specific times throughout the weekend.

Your Generosity Makes a Difference

Life.Church partners with dozens of organizations in our neighborhoods and around the world to bring hope and healing to hurting people. When you give to Life.Church, you can choose to give to Local & Global Missions and directly support efforts that provide relief to people in crisis and transform lives through relationships.

You can give anytime in the Life.Church app or here on the Life.Church website. You can also set up regular scheduled gifts, view your giving history, and more.

We understand how hard this season has been and we're praying for God's guidance and wisdom in all of the choices you face in the weeks ahead.
