Behind The Music
This song was influenced by stories from the students in our church who felt hurt and left out by their friend group. We wrote it as a reminder that even if we have to act a certain way for our friends to like us, it’s not like that with God. He doesn’t want anything from us but exactly who we are, and He’ll never walk away from us, no matter what.
This song is upbeat and catchy with a mainstream pop sound. It’s fun and easy to listen to. We wrote it with our friends, Ryan Ellis and Ethan Hulse. Ryan is part of our label, and we really enjoyed writing with both of them!
